Aesthetic dentistry in The Hague

Aesthetic dentistry improves the colour, shape and position of your teeth, aiming for a natural result. Think of teeth whitening, composite bonding or veneers. The difference between restored and natural is often invisible.

What does aesthetic dentistry involve?

We start with a conversation about what you would like to change. Then we show you what is possible and which treatment fits, from whitening to a complete smile makeover.

When do you need aesthetic dentistry?

For discoloured teeth, small chipped edges, gaps between teeth or irregularly shaped teeth.

  • With discoloured teeth from coffee, tea, smoking or medication.

  • With small chipped edges or wear.

  • With gaps between the teeth.

  • With teeth of an unusual shape or length.

  • When old fillings have visibly darkened.

  • If you would like a more natural or fresher smile.

Teeth and gums must be healthy first, then we look at aesthetics.

    Step 4

    Treatment

For example whitening, composite bonding or veneers.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Aftercare

We give tips to keep the result looking good for as long as possible.

Options for a nicer smile

Small changes can already make a big difference. We always choose the least invasive solution.

01

Whitening

Teeth become a few shades lighter with a safe whitening gel, supervised by the dentist.

02

Composite

Tooth-coloured filling material to repair edges, gaps or shapes, often in one visit.

03

Veneers

Thin shells on the front of the tooth for a lasting beautiful result.

What does aesthetic dentistry cost?

Dental fees in the Netherlands are set by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa). You receive an explanation of the costs before any treatment, and a quote for larger treatments. What your health insurer covers depends on your policy.
